The Darkmoon Faire, as most factions in Azeroth, seems to be one that evolved out of necessity. Sheltering the outcast and unwanted, none can quite recall when the tents were first pitched upon mainland soil, nor when the peculiar cant of carnie chatter became commonplace within Horde and Alliance settlements. These strangers brought with them wonders and sights from beyond the tides, but offered no stake in society, no fixed address, and plenty of words to charm their way into your pockets ...
It is with such misgivings that the Faire is often regarded, seen as little else than a collective of swindlers and charlatans. The suspicion is mutual, and for good reason. Here today and gone tomorrow with nary a faction tie in sight, the carnies of Darkmoon are a superstitious lot that take far more than they give. The townies draw their line, imagining that surely you'd cheat them for little more than a stuffed bear in return! Why, haven't you heard that every barker this side of the isle is talking mighty sweet to those that will listen? Watch your coinpurse!
The Darkmoon's Finest is a splinter group of the faire that seeks to remedy this divide. Started as a means to reach mainland audiences, The Finest handles talent scouting and advertisement, spearheaded by Darkmoon Isle locals at the behest of Silas Darkmoon himself. Drumming up attendance, hyping up the faire's monthly arrival, showcasing their talents, and scouting out promising performers are all tasks the Finest undertakes. Beyond their duties, the Finest are defined as a rag-tag family of talented individuals with an insatiable sense of wanderlust and a love for adventure.

We are an RP-oriented Alliance guild on Moon Guard with a focus in Darkmoon Faire and entertainment-styled campaigns and events.
The Finest aims to explore The Darkmoon Faire's many secrets, creating a melting pot of free spirited creatives that travel Azeroth to learn more about themselves and the mysterious forces at play on the Isle. Maybe you're not content settling down. Maybe you have a troubled past. Or maybe the road is better than whatever you've left behind. All are welcome amongst the Finest ... so long as you play by our rules.
MISSION STATEMENT
We at the Finest see it as our mission to fill in the gaps left behind by Blizzard in order to bring the world of The Darkmoon Faire to life. We want to establish the Faire as a roleplay destination and living, breathing world event that is a collaborative group effort and labor of love by and for the Moon Guard roleplay community, as well as bring its flair for the dramatic to the mainland year-round through hired events and public performances. We value creativity, character building, and story-driven narratives that form lasting impressions on their participants.
